*1/2 Marathon update*

So not that is matters to anyone but me......but I looked up my offical time and I finished the race in 2:26:33. Every second counts! Thanks to everyone for the fun comments!

Half Marathon 2009

I ran my first half marathon today 13.1 miles in 2 hr 27 min. What a fun, yet exhausting experience. I had a friend (Karrie) I trained with for the past 10 weeks and that was what made it possible for me. Although you can't tell I am the one trailing in the back, actually I was trying to catch up to another friend from Vegas (not Karrie). My competitive side wouldn't allow her to beat me so I had to leave Karrie and book it to finally catch up to Callie at the finish line! Way to go Callie and Karrie!!!!
We won these amazing medals....ha ha they actually gave one to anyone and everyone who crossed the finish line.

Silas brought the girls to watch me finish, isn't he the best husband ever. Navey was having too much fun collecting rocks and pine cones that she really wasn't too interested in taking a picture, but she did anyway. Thanks Navey

Freezing Cold

We all look a little rough because the WIND was so freezing cold!

Jayce and McKenna trying oh so hard to get into the tub. Steph and I had our fair share of keeping the two of them from hitting each other. They both have decided that smacking people is the way to go. Naughty, Naughty!

This was a quick moment that they weren't either crying or hitting.

They both love their slippers that their Swain cousins got them for Christmas. McKenna has Dora, and Jayce has Elmo. This was as close as they would sit together. You see the problem is that their moms and dads love being around each other so the two of them will just have to work through their issues.

3 wheel'n fun

Uncle Kenny brought the 3 wheeler down this last weekend and Navey had a blast. Papa Ronnie if you look at this just turn away...."no helmet"! Sorry about the sound the weather was FREEZING cold and the wind was even colder.

Christmas 2008

This was McKenna's gift from Santa. I believe before too long Kenna was playing with Navey's and Navey was playing with McKenna's.

We had such a fun Christmas this year. It was just our little family of four on Christmas morning and then Silas' family came down that evening. The girls woke up around 7:30.....I was awake before they were. We just took it easy, played and had some great family time!
